May 13, 2015 Public Meeting on Executive Order 12333 at the National Constitution Center

The Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board held a May 13, 2015 public meeting to examine the history, constitutional implications, and oversight of counterterrorism activities conducted under Executive Order 12333, which governs the intelligence efforts of the United States.

April 8, 2015 Public Meeting on Executive Order 12333

The Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board held a public meeting on April 8, 2015, to discuss and vote on a proposed plan for its review of counterterrorism activities conducted by the Intelligence Community under Executive Order 12333. Each Board Member offered comments explaining his or her views regarding the proposed plan, after which the plan was approved by a vote of four to one.


The Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board held a meeting on December 17, 2014, with representatives of various non-governmental organizations to gain a better understanding of public concerns about Intelligence Community (“IC”) activities conducted under Executive Order 12333.
